Just wanted to write you and tell you what an outstanding trip and great time we had in Scotland and London! The folks at Maxjet were great and the flight and service could not have been any better. Also the accommodations and service at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels and Lennox Hotels exceeded our expectations. Really top notch! Don't hesitate recommending either hotels for future clients! Also, the folks at Barter International were great and called me while at both hotels to see if we had any problems or if we needed anything. Great follow through that was appreciated!

I am typing you this note from my brand new Gateway Handbook 486 laptop computer. It's an incredible PC--all of the power of a 486 computer, the ability to run Windows, etc. in a box smaller than a notebook, and weighing less than 3 pounds!

The reason I'm writing is to thank you for introducing me to Barter Systems, Inc. I certainly would not have been able to purchase this great computer on cash at this juncture; buying it through Barter Systems made it a reality! I have found working with Barter Systems, Inc. to be a thoroughly pleasant and profitable relationship. In addition to the dinners, computers, and vacations that I have enjoyed through Barter, I have been able to expand my business (both barter and cash) through leads generated by Barter Systems, Inc. We are writing this letter to thank you for the newest business opportunity you have introduced to our company. It has opened several doors to our company that would have remained closed, if it were not for "Barter Systems." With "Barter Systems" we have gained new customers; with the new customers, we have gained trade dollars; with the trade dollars, we have been able to utilize the potential buying power within the vast network. The end result, we keep more "George Washington's" in the bank!

In addition to the new customer's and the new income, we have utilized the trade dollars in several ways. All expensing involved with sales is done using trade dollars. We give a fifty dollar gift certificate to the employee of the month, via Barter. We have counteracted the high costs of medical insurance by taking advantage of the many medical services within "Barter Systems." In the future we are going to have all of our company holiday parties through "Barter Systems." We plan to use the catering services, DJ services, entertainment services, and whatever else might prove to create smiles on the employees who make our business work. Where we used to budget money for such events now we just Barter!

As we grow in age with "Barter Systems" the network grows in size. The customer's we have met have become friends within this unity. We work as one to promote each other. Our broker Lillian has worked with us tremendously to create new leads, new promotions, new money!! We have one regret to take up with "Barter Systems" why did it take them so long to find us? If you find you have a potential member who is doubtful. Please feel free to give them our number for a reference. Thanks again for introducing us to a new, yet old way of developing business!

A fellow photographer friend has been telling me for the last 20 years about how happy he was in the barter network. It wasn't until last year that I stepped out into this new venture of attracting business. Within two months I had gotten $3500 worth of revenue from a source I would never had gotten conventionally. They (the new business) were in the form of gift certificates for customer prizes and employee incentives for their company. It worked out so well to be able to schedule people in time slots where I had plenty of time available. And it's continued to work that way for me. I'm already paying the advertising and all the other overhead to do by regular business. I have enough time and employees to double my business. So, while I'm waiting for that to happen, why not fill that time in with barter business? It's a great way, too, to get our name out there and get referrals for regular business from satisfied barter customers spreading the word. People on the barter network will call from hours away to do business with us. I'm getting free advertising and access to markets way beyond my immediate area. And, I can say "no" anytime I want. It is totally within my control to regulate how much of my business is relegated to barter. This month I'll be enjoying spending some of this "monopoly" kind of money on a much needed thorough cleaning of all the windows inside and out of my 4,000 square foot house, as well as a complete power wash to the siding and decks. I can't wait to take my family and friends on the Crab Cruise out of Pocomoke this summer when they visit. My son got the water ski-doo rentals in Ocean City along with some miniature golf tickets for Christmas presents. I just saw that a lawyer is on barter in Salisbury. So, an update of my will is next on the agenda.

I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to give this a try - unless they don't need more business. There's absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Barter Systems has provided me with another way to get an edge on my competition and to expand my business. By using unused production capacity I can generate revenue that I can use to purchase other goods and services. It's like creating money out of thin air!
